We are looking for a Content Writer and Editor to join our Content Strategy, working alongside a dynamic team to build custom solutions for our clients. You will work with experience designers, analytics teams, account managers, and development teams, consulting with clients across a wide range of industries, and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Ensure all deliverables and teamwork deliverables are professionally written, edited, and proofread
- Ensure standards for editorial tone, style, and voice of all content
- Partner with client to enhance, edit and create new content
- Communicate regularly with SMEs and colleagues during the development process
- Work effectively as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team to meet deadlines
- Write user-friendly content across multiple platforms and touchpoints that aligns with the client’s brand, values, and tone and meets business goals and industry best practices
- Create copy guidelines that support the broader content strategy and user experience goals
- Collaborate with a cross-functional project team to create narratives and copy for journey maps, landing pages, products, applications, and more across web and mobile
- Establish relationships with the design, analytics, and technology teams
- Provide editorial feedback to the project team and other writers
Requirements
- Exceptional proofreading skills with attention to spelling, grammar, and editorial guideline
- Resilience and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- A flexible mindset and agile approach to deliverables
- At least 8 years of professional copywriting experience, either at an agency or in-house
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, UX, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to articulate the rationale behind your work, to teammates and stakeholders
- Collaborative experience with clients to understand their business and translate that into accessible, user-centered copy
- Well-versed with quantitative and qualitative data to guide editorial choices
- Capable of defining editorial processes and workflows
- Knowledgeable of content migration processes and working with development teams
